My Bloomin' Life!

What's life like for a Christian mom who loves gardening, sewing, reading, cooking, and raising five kids and five hens? Welcome to my bloomin' life, where I grow kids, flowers, and chickens! This blog is just simply the true divulgences of a less-than-perfect Christian woman. Sometimes funny, sometimes serious, but always keepin' it true and real. Ain't it fun! ~ Julia Lynne

Little Mama
Just a woman trying to keep this fleeting life as simple as possible, but without much success. This life is just messy and complicated sometimes, but it's my life!

Julia "Lynne" - me, wife, mama, Gigi, empty-nester, daughter, sister, friend, keeper of The Agenda, the only one who REALLY knows what's going on around The Coop, but sometimes forgets. I became a Volunteer firefighter/EMT at age 45!

Mister

Mister
My beloved for nearly 30(!!!) years, Mister, Daddy, Papa, Operations Manager who can retire but isn’t ready. The man who owns about 10 pair of running shoes and has lost about 75 pounds since 2009! I won’t ever tire of his hugs or his smile. He keeps me sane.

Little Miss Independent

Little Miss Independent
She taught me how to be a mama when I was still a girl myself, and then she got all grown up, went to college, and decided NYC would be her home! I miss her but love that she’s fearless and independence.

Hardworking boy

Hardworking boy
He became a firefighter and EMT, took a wife, and is now a daddy of two precious little ones.

Whatcha gonna do when he comes for you?

Not to be outdone by his brother, this one became a LEO and took a wife, too. It was awesome see God provide for them in a trying time.

She said "YES!" and will soon be a bride herself. It doesn't surprise anyone that this sweet girl is a nanny to three crazies.

Joyful

Joyful
This one taught me what grace means and taught me to live it. When she grew up, she decided Florida would be her new home.
